State police at Lehighton

State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• Michael Goordman, 44, of Gilbert, was charged with resisting arrest after police were called to the Dollar General Store on Route 115 in Saylorsburg at 8:37 p.m. Sept. 4.

Police said they were called there for a report of a homeless man loitering on the property. They said during their investigation, Goordman became agitated and took a fighting stance with troopers on scene.

• Kelly Fisher, 52, of Lehighton, was charge with criminal mischief after police were summoned to an ongoing neighborhood dispute at 6:08 p.m. Aug. 31 on High Point Road, East Penn Township.

The victim is a 38-year-old man from Tamaqua who told police that Fisher intentionally damaged his 2011 Jeep.

• A 43-year-old Kunkletown man is facing charges of operating a vehicle while his license is suspended for a prior driving under the influence offense.

Police said he was stopped in a 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche for a traffic violation at 932 Interchange Road, Polk Township.

• Kenneth Hawk, 57, of Weissport, was cited for disorderly conduct after police were called to a landlord-tenant dispute at 6:50 p.m. Sept. 7 on White Street, Weissport.

Police said he and the tenant, a 63-year-old man, also of Weissport, engaged in a verbal argument during which time Hawk used language that created a physically offensive condition to the victim/tenant.

• A 54-year-old Saylorsburg man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped at a checkpoint police had set up at Anchorage Road and Route 115, Ross Township, at 9:52 p.m. Sept. 5.

Police said he was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Silverado at the time.

• A 33-year-old Easton man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 5:45 p.m. Sept. 6.

Police said he as driving a 2007 Honda Odyssey when he was stopped for Title 75 violations on Lehigh Drive, Lehigh Township, Northampton County.

• A 45-year-old Breinigsville man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance after police made a traffic stop at 8:44 p.m. Sept. 6.

Police said he was driving a 2008 Chrysler when he was stopped for Title 75 violations on Route 248 in Bowmanstown.

• A 34-year-old Harrisburg man is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol after he was stopped in a DUI Checkpoint at 9:32 p.m. Sept. 5.

Police said he was driving a 2011 Hyundai Veracruz when stopped at the intersection of Route 115 and Anchorage Road, Ross Township.

• A 37-year-old woman from Joppa, Maryland, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol.

Police said that at 3:23 a.m. Sept. 10 she was driving a 2021 Hyundai Kona that was stopped in the roadway of Interchange Road, Franklin Township, blocking a lane and committing a Motor Vehicle Code violation.
