State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following incidents:
• A 31-year-old East Stroudsburg man was charged with simple assault and harassment after police were called to a domestic incident at 11:23 p.m. Sept. 9 on Lake Road, Hamilton Township.
The victim, police said, was a 35-year-old woman from East Stroudsburg.
Police said the man struck her in the face with an open hand, injuring her. He was taken into custody and transported to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville.
Police said both people were originally cited for harassment by physical contact after they were summoned to the above location earlier that night.
• Andrew Ioannidis, 34, of East Stroudsburg, was charged with harassment by communications after police were called to a property on Route 209 in Hamilton Township at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 8.
Police said the victim is a 61-year-old man from Nazareth, whom they identified as the former boss of Ioannidis.
They said Ioannidis sent hundreds of harassing messages to his former boss for no legitimate purpose.
• A 79-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, both from Stroudsburg, were cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to an inactive domestic dispute on Bossardville Road, Hamilton Township, at 10:11 a.m. Sept. 8.
Police said the woman was escorted off the property and transported to a local hotel.
