USA Today 10Best announced that Historic Hotel Bethlehem earned the top spot as America’s Best Historic Hotel/Resort for the sixth year in a row.
In a congratulatory email celebrating the Readers’ Choice Award, USA Today 10Best Editor Maggie Tyner wrote, “These nominations were carefully curated by a panel of subject matter experts and USA TODAY 10Best editors before being voted on by the public, so you’ve earned some serious bragging rights!”
Historic Hotel Bethlehem stands among impressive company in the contest. The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa in Alabama and The Peabody in Memphis are well known as historic icons that challenge for this honor every year. Plus, the nominations this year included three impressive Pennsylvania hotels: Historic Hotel Bethlehem, Hotel Hershey and the Omni Bedford Springs.
Historic Hotel Bethlehem Managing Partner Bruce Haines said, “You are judged by the company you keep. It’s clear our beloved ‘Hotel B’ is among the best of the best. That’s thanks to our community, our partners, and our dedicated team.”
Historic Hotel Bethlehem has leveraged media recognition to create robust national PR and marketing campaigns that have directly increased tourism in Bethlehem. “Transient leisure business has increased about 20% since last year. In July, we saw an impressive 50% increase,” Haines said.
