State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police issued a report on the sobriety checkpoint conducted over the Labor Day holiday weekend on roads in Monroe County.
They said three arrests were made of drivers for driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and one arrest was made for possession of a controlled substance. They also issued multiple citations and warnings to drivers relating to Motor Vehicle Code regulations.
• Police responded to a theft by deception report at 4:09 p.m. Sept. 5 on Grand Mesa Drive, Chestnuthill Township.
An 18-year-old woman from Effort told police she was the victim of an email scam in which she lost $210.
