Lower Towamensing Township supervisors took the following action recently:

• Decided that AMPAL, Inc. does not need a land development plan to install solar panels on its property, but does have to submit an application for conditional use to the zoning hearing board.

• Approved Guidemark to perform line painting on township roads in the amount of $23,363.

• Agreed the reimbursement request from the Aquashicola Fire Company in the amount of $425 for postage for its newsletter.

• Approved a time extension for the Gerould, Heffelfinger, Polard subdivision, until Oct. 30.

• Approved the Pennsylvania Municipal Retirement System — 2027 Minimum Municipal Obligation.
