State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• Police are investigating the theft of electronic equipment from the Pocono Mountain East Little League.

They were called to a property on Route 715 in Jackson Township where it was reported that the equipment, valued at $1,164, was stolen from the softball field press box at the baseball complex in September or October 2025.

• Police said a suspect entered a business establishment dealing in new and used firearms, filled out the necessary state and federal application/records of sale and was denied a sale or transfer.

It occurred at 11:21 a.m. April 26 at the business on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

A second incident occurred at 2:23 p.m. June 29 at the same location, police said.

• Police are investigating a Pennsylvania ChildLine report they received of an assault/bodily injury incident involving a 15-year-old boy from Saylorsburg.

They said the incident occurred on May 12 on Meadow Pass, Chestnuthill Township.

• Jacqueline Hackl, 46, of Albrightsville, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to Kinsley’s ShopRite store, 107 Kinsley Drive, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said that between June 1 and 8:57 p.m. July 21 she was caught stealing food and alcohol valued at $438.25.

• A 39-year-old woman from Saylorsburg was cited for harassment and criminal mischief by physical contact after an incident at 1:03 p.m. June 10 at the intersection of Route 903 and Stony Mountain Road, Penn Forest Township.

A 42-year-old man from Albrightsville told police that he was driving south on Route 903 in a 2007 Nissan Altima, traveling to a preliminary hearing in district court, when a 2016 Mitsubishi behind him entered the opposing lane and attempted to run him off the road.

He told police he pulled his vehicle off the shoulder of the road, but the Mitsubishi followed him. He said after he parked the woman got out of the vehicle, approached his car and struck its windshield with a blunt object. The man said the woman grabbed his shirt through an open driver’s side door and struck him in the face five or six times.

• A Pennsylvania ChildLine report asks police to investigate an assault/bodily injury incident that was reported to have occurred on June 2 on Quincy Lane, Penn Forest Township.

Police said a 5-year-old boy from Albrightsville is the victim of the suspected child abuse.

• Police are investigating an involuntarily deviate sexual intercourse report that they received from the Pennsylvania ChildLine network.

It indicates a 12-year-old girl from Albrightsville is the victim of an alleged incident that occurred on Route 903, Penn Forest Township, at 2:26 p.m. June 17.
