The West Penn Township Lions Club will be hosting a Senior Citizen Fun Day, celebrating our treasured seniors, honoring their wisdom, kindness and contributions.

All residents of the township 62 years or older are invited to attend.

This year’s festival will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the West Penn Community Park, 655 Zion Church Road New Ringgold, of Route 309/West Penn Pike).

The rain or shine event will include a free lunch of pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, corn and pickled beets, cake and ice cream, served at noon.

Activities will include: music, cake walk, bingo and trivia.

West Penn seniors must register by calling Lion Tina 570-516-4573 or Lion Becky at 484-809-1687, or by registering at local churches in the township.
