Tickets available for Valor holiday cookie trail

The Holiday Cookie Trail is returning for the holiday season after a successful inaugural event in July raised approximately $3,000 for local veterans in need.

The Holiday Cookie Trail will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 21, and will give shoppers an opportunity to explore local businesses throughout the West End of Monroe County, enjoy holiday cookies and get a jump start on their holiday shopping, all while supporting local veterans.

Ticket sales directly benefit local veterans through the VALOR Clinic Foundation.

The adventure begins at the VALOR Food Pantry, located at 1134 Old Route 115 in Saylorsburg, where participants will receive what they need to begin their Cookie Trail.

The ticket includes at least one cookie at every participating stop, with more than 15 local businesses and vendors expected to participate.

There is no additional purchase required to enjoy the cookies. Your prepaid Cookie Trail ticket gets you at least one cookie at each stop.

Participants can also browse and shop at the participating businesses along the way, making the event a fun and unique way to tackle some holiday shopping while supporting local businesses.

Participating stops on the July trail included Klingel’s Farm Market, Gould’s Produce, Heckman Orchards, Life is Good Chiropractic, Coleman Insurance, Mama’s Donuts, Sauce West End, Label Shopper, One Woman’s Junk, Nibor’s Coffee and Big Creek Vineyard, among others.

The overwhelming response to the summer event inspired organizers to bring the Cookie Trail back for the holiday season.
