State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following crashes:

• Five people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that also involved a pedestrian at 6:56 a.m. Aug. 25 at the intersection of Old Stage Road and Pawnee Trail, Penn Forest Township.

Police said the injured people were a 16-year-old boy and Eric C. Klepar, 36, both of Albrightsville, who were the drivers of the vehicles; a boy and girl, both 14 and from Albrightsville, who were passengers with the 16-year-old driver; and a 14-year-old boy from Albrightsville, who was the pedestrian.

They said all had possible or minor injuries; no emergency medical services transports were needed.

Police said the crash occurred as the 16-year-old boy was driving a 2025 Toyota Camry on Old Stage Road when he attempted to turn left onto Pawnee Trail without proper clearance. They said the Camry hit a 2018 Kia Soul head-on. Police said the Camry spun and came to rest blocking the travel lane, while the Soul spun and hit the pedestrian, who was standing at the intersection. Police said he was thrown into a wooded area.

• Two drivers and two passengers had minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 12:55 p.m. Aug. 21 on Route 209 in Chestnuthill Township.

Police said Brigitte S. Northrup, 47, of Stroudsburg, the driver of one of the vehicles, and Cody S. Sterns, 27, also of Stroudsburg, her passenger, did not require emergency medical services transports from the scene.

Juan Nunez Jr., 61, of Kunkletown, the other driver, also did not require a transport. However, police said that his passenger, Cynthia Nunez, 62, also of Kunkletown, was transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.

Police said the crash occurred when Northrup, driving a 2020 Subaru Forester, entered the flow of traffic from a parking lot without clearance and the Forester struck a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer driven by Nunez. They said the Jeep spun around and came to rest on the northbound shoulder, where the Forester also came to a halt.

Northrup was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Alexander W. Moyer, 19, of Palmerton, was cited after a one-vehicle crash at 10:16 a.m. Aug. 15 on the Lake Mineola Road, Chestnuthill Township.

He and two passengers were uninjured in the incident.

Police said Moyer was driving a 2016 Nissan Altima northbound and was negotiating a left curve in the road when he lost control of the car. It left the road and crashed into a tree.

The vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.

• Megan S. Seiber, 61, of Hamilton, New Jersey, and Lisa M. Felter, 56, of Lehighton, had suspected minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at 10:50 p.m. July 10 at the intersection of Route 903 and Stony Mountain Road, Penn Forest Township.

Police said they were transported by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

Police said the crash occurred when Seiber, driving a 2024 Honda Civic, turned onto the on-ramp and did not see a 2009 Toyota Prius driven by Felter, resulting in a head-on collision. Police said the force of the impact caused the Honda to rotate and travel a short distance on the right shoulder.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Seiber was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Brianna L. Hungerford, 31, of Milford, was treated after a car-motorcycle crash at 8:34 p.m. July 31 on East Old Stage Road, Penn Forest Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Lehighton Ambulance Association to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon Campus, Franklin Township.

They said the crash occurred as Hungerford was operating a 2010 Harley-Davidson west when she attempted to overtake a 2017 Mercedes-Benz driven by Darian M. Cole, 29, of Albrightsville, striking the vehicle.

Hungerford was cited after the crash, according to police.

• Michelle Ramirez, 31, of Dunmore, was involved in a one-vehicle crash at 9:04 p.m. Aug. 15 on Weir Lake Road, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said she was transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.

Four passengers with her, including children ages 2, 8 and 14, were uninjured in the crash.

Police said Ramirez was driving a 2023 Toyota Tundra northbound when she became distracted due to her child choking in the back seat. The Tundra swerved to the right of the roadway and hit a tree. It had disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Ramirez was issued a warning after the crash, according to police.

• Police said Justin E. Guyer, 42, of Kunkletown, is facing charges of driving under the influence following a two-vehicle crash at 6:57 p.m. Aug. 2 at the intersection of Weir Lake Road and Kinsley Drive, Chestnuthill Township. He was also cited for unsafe driving, according to police.

He was operating a 2005 Volkswagen GTI north on Weir Lake Road when he turned left onto Kinsley Drive in front of a 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Daniel Kalman, 57, of Saylorsburg, causing the collision, police said.

Neither driver was injured, police said.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
