State police at the Bethlehem barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 19-year-old New Tripoli woman is the victim of a theft by deception/identity theft incident police were called to at 11:43 a.m. Aug. 18 on Werley’s Corner Road, Heidelberg Township.

She told police someone opened a credit card using her name and made $450 worth of purchases.

• Krista L. Rice, no age or address provided by police, remains incarcerated in the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown, after police arrested her on charges relating to the theft of a vehicle at 1:43 p.m. Aug. 18 at residence n Washington Township.

Police said she is charged wit theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and criminal trespass.

Police said the stolen vehicle was recovered in a wooded area of the township.

• A 29-year-old Stockertown man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a husband-wife argument at 11:43 a.m. Aug. 11 on Park View Road, Washington Township.

They said the victim is a 42-year-old woman from Slatington.

• A 61-year-old Slatington man is facing drug possession charges after an incident at 10:35 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 3700 block of the Neffs-Laurys Road, North Whitehall Township.

Police said a 2007 Kia was involved in the incident.

• Bradyn Gatens, 34, of Lehighton, was charged with retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Target store on Airport Center Drive, Hanover Township, at 11:25 a.m. July 24.

Police said he was observed on video surveillance leaving the store after concealing merchandise valued at $200.94 underneath his hooded sweatshirt. A 2013 Hyundai was involved in the incident.

Police said Gatens was identified, charged and transported to the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown, for arraignment.

• Police were called to investigate a theft at a property at Cherryville and Spring Hill roads, Allen Township.

They said that between June 25 and 30 equipment valued at $254 was stolen from an excavator; $1,445 worth of equipment was taken from a backhoe; and $3,875 worth of equipment was stolen from a second backhoe.

• A 50-year-old Schnecksville woman was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to a mother-daughter domestic dispute at 10:09 a.m. June 7 on Mohican Drive, North Whitehall Township.

A 31-year-old Slatington woman told police that her mother struck her in the back of the head during an argument

• Police were called to a burglary at 9:33 p.m. June 1 on Phillips Road, Heidelberg Township.

They said a 70-year-old Germansville man reported that he discovered several drum heads on the property were intentionally damaged with a sharp object, causing $350 in damage, after which he found his rear door unsecured and about $1,380 in cash missing from an envelope located in his bedroom.

• A 44-year-old woman from Parryville was charged with retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Weis Market on Route 873, Washington Township, at 5:39 p.m. May 25.

Police said she was caught stealing $89.15 worth of merchandise. She was transported to the Lehigh County Prison, Allentown, where she was processed and fingerprinted.

• A mother and son were cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic dispute at 4:19 p.m. May 20 on Niebet Court, Washington Township.

Police said the 20-year-old man from Allentown and 47-year-old woman from Slatington were involved in a confrontation. They said the mother took unnecessary actions to instigate the altercation. They said as the son retreated to his bedroom, his mother followed him.

When the son attempted to slam his bedroom door various times, police said, the mother refused to move from the threshold and was struck by the door.
