State police at the Fern Ridge barracks reported the following incidents:

• Marc Adames, 38, of Saylorsburg, was cited for retail theft (shoplifting) after police were called to the Penn Jersey Mart, 2023 Route 209, Chestnuthill Township, at 12:05 p.m. Aug. 7.

Police said it was determined that he stole lottery tickets from the store. A 2020 Honda Pilot was involved in the incident, police said.

• A 64-year-old Weatherly man was charged with criminal defiant trespassing after police were called to the Lehigh Gorge Campground, White Haven, at 12:47 p.m. July 26.

Police said the campground owners related that the man was acting erratically and frightening other campers, after which he was given a trespassing warning. They said he failed to leave the grounds despite additional accommodations being made for him by family.

Police said he was taken into custody and transported to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg, where he underwent an involuntary mental health commitment.
