The Brodheadsville school was selected as one of the first 2026 winners in the program’s $5K Fridays promotion, earning $5,000 that can be used to support school programs.
Pleasant Valley is participating in the national competition for the second straight year after advancing to the Top 25 in 2025.
This year, T-Mobile will award more than $8.4 million in prizes to high schools in communities with populations under 150,000.
A total of 1,000 schools will receive $5,000 through weekly drawings during the submission period. Pleasant Valley is one of 13 Pennsylvania schools to have received a $5,000 award so far this year.

The grand prize winner will receive a football stadium upgrade valued at $1 million.
Schools can apply through Sept. 18. Each applicant is automatically entered into the weekly $5K Fridays drawings.
Public voting is scheduled for Oct. 8-25, with the grand prize winner to be announced Nov. 12.
