Kunzweiler is staked to a 2-0 first-inning lead which grows to 6-1 after two frames. Bob Barry leads a nine-hit attack with a pair of hits and also scores a run. Kunzweiler helps his own cause with a hit and a run, while Bill Paluka, Bob Porambo and Bill Corby all contribute a hit and a run. For Coaldale, Bob Popik ends with two hits.
