An 83-year-old Saylorsburg woman is the victim of a theft by deception incident police responded to on Cherry Valley Road, Hamilton Township.

State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said she reported at 11:22 a.m. July 31 that $3,500 was stolen from her in the incident.
