John De Palma, 53, of Albrightsville, was cited for criminal mischief after police were called to a Valero service station on Main Street in Stockertown, police said

State police at the Belfast barracks said that De Palma was driving a 2026 Volkawagen Atlas when he drove away from a gas pump at 8:48 p.m. on June 19 while the pump’s nozzle was still in his vehicle.

Damage from the incident, which was jointly investigated with state police at Stroudsburg, was estimated at $500.
