State police at the Lehighton barracks reported the following incidents:

• A 46-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman from Lehighton were both cited for harassment by physical contact after police were called to a domestic disturbance at 5:13 p.m. July 31 on Spring Hill Road, Mahoning Township.

Police said the two were involved in an altercation that turned physical.

• A 69-year-old Lehighton woman is the victim of a theft by deception/identity theft incident she reported to police at their barracks at 9:20 a.m. July 31.

She is a resident of Cheyenne Lane, East Penn Township. Police said nothing was stolen from her in the incident.

• Mitchell Solomon, 61, of Tamaqua, was cited for harassment after police responded to a store on Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township, at 9:53 a.m. Aug. 4.

Police said the victim is a 59-year-old man from Kunkletown.

They said Solomon was reported to have been screaming throughout the store.

• Police responded to a criminal mischief incident at 9:14 a.m. Aug. 3 on Little Gap Road, Lower Towamensing Township.

They said a 72-year-old man from Kunkletown reported damage to his home that was caused by someone shooting a BB gun.

• A 25-year-old Tamaqua man was cited for harassment by physical contact after police responded to an “unwanted person” report at 9:31 a.m. Aug. 5 on Lower Nis Hollow Drive, Mahoning Township.

Police said a 56-year-old woman from Lehighton reported a physical altercation took place. They said the woman initially declined emergency medical services but later requested the assistance for a wrist injury.

• Police are investigating the theft of copper wire from Verizon cables on West Lizard Creek Road, East Penn Township.

They were called there at 7:34 p.m. Aug. 5. The victim, Verizon, of Harrisburg, does not have a time frame of when the theft occurred, police said.

• Police were called to the parking lot of Walmart, Blakeslee Boulevard Drive East, Mahoning Township, for a report of a child left unattended inside a vehicle.

The call came in at 8:46 a.m. Aug. 5 and involved a 2004 Toyota Corolla and a 2007 Acura.

Police said the vehicle with the child in it left the scene before their arrival.
