State police at the Stroudsburg barracks reported the following accidents:
• Martha S. Hemeleski, 64, of Tamiment, was cited for “tire equipment and traction surfaces” following a two-vehicle mishap at 1:09 p.m. on July 30 on Milford Road, Middle Smithfield Township. No one was injured in the incident.
Police said she was driving a 2024 Dodge Hornet southbound when it struck the trailer unit of a 2001 Dodge Dakota driven by Shane L. Walck, 48, of Saylorsburg, after the latter had stopped for traffic at the light at the intersection with Sellersville Road.
Police said the Hornet sustained disabling damages.
• Ayse Buyukcelebi, 64, of Clifton, New Jersey, was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic after a two-vehicle mishap at 727 p.m. on July 14 on Route 61 in Hamilton Township. No one was injured in the incident.
Police said she was driving a 2020 Lexus westbound when she attempted to turn right into a gas station without proper clearance and the car was struck by a 2012 Toyota Sienna driven by Ahmed Shaheen, 61, of East Stroudsburg.
Police said the Lexus sustained disabling damages and had to be towed from the scene while the Sienna had functional damages but was able to be driven from the scene.
