State police at the Frackville barracks reported the following incident:

• A 28-year-old Tamaqua man was arrested for violating a Protection From Abuse court order after police were called to a disturbance at 7:16 p.m. on July 22 on the Ben Titus Road, Rush Township.

Police said the victim is a 61-year-old woman from Tamaqua.

A 2011 Volkswagen was involved in the incident, police said.
