Frankie Althouse led all 50 laps Saturday night to win the Mike Krempasky Memorial Street Stock feature at Mahoning Valley Speedway for his division-leading fourth victory of the season.

Althouse took the lead from Jon Moser at the start and never gave it up despite several early cautions. Once the race settled into a long green-flag run, he pulled away to finish ahead of Moser, Adam Steigerwalt, Jill Snyder and Brandon Christman.

Cody Boehm earned Hard Charger honors after advancing nine positions, while Randy Ahner received the Hard Luck Award following an electrical issue. Althouse, Cody Geist and Eric Kocher won the heat races.

Devin Schmidt led all 25 laps of the Hobby Stock feature to earn his first victory in more than five years. Shayne Geist finished second and Travis Solomon was third. Schmidt and Solomon won the heat races.

The Factory Stocks produced a pair of caution-free 30-lap features. Blaine Barry held off Scott Riggleman to win the opener, with Chris Lane finishing third. Riggleman rebounded to win the second feature after charging through the field, followed by Bob Wink and Brian Osborn. Lane captured the heat race.

Nick Baer rallied from an early penalty and contact that sent him to the rear of the field to win the 602 Modified feature for his second victory of the season. Max Pfeifer finished second, Makayla Kohler was third, and Baer also won the heat race.

Mahoning Valley Speedway returns to action Saturday with Race of Champions Modified and Hobby Stock competition. Track officials are expecting another strong turnout after several weeks of large crowds and car counts and will preview several Race of Champions drivers on the speedway’s social media pages throughout the week.
