It was a short July meeting for the Towamensing Township board of supervisors. They approved the following:

• A 90-day time extension until Sept. 3 was given for the Haydt lot line adjustment plan.

• The township will be purchasing two flags for the Towamensing Township Fire Company.

• A letter will go out to the insurance company to find out the process for fire company event approval and understand if each event needs to be approved independently.

• Roads were tarred and chipped. Paving should be finished within the week.

Also, correspondence was received complaining about the storage of vehicles on Poco Drive. However, the letter was not signed and the return address used was the township’s address; therefore, no action can be taken.
