NCC signs transfer agreement with Webster University

Northampton Community College students pursuing Associate of Arts in psychology or Associate in Applied Science in counseling psychology can seamlessly transfer into Webster University’s psychology programs under a new articulation agreement between the two institutions.

Under the agreement, all psychology coursework completed at NCC will be applied to Webster psychology degrees, so college credit can be applied to the baccalaureate degree. Webster’s psychology programs can also be completed fully online to suit their schedule, location and needs. Students can complete their entire psychology degree from the comfort of their homes and on their timeline, giving them the flexibility to pursue their educational goals in a manner that best meets their needs.

NCC is the first institution from the Northeast to partner with Webster University.

Northampton students pursuing associate degrees in psychology or applied science in counseling can transfer into the following programs at Webster:

• Bachelor of Arts in psychology.

• Bachelor of Arts in psychology with emphasis in mental health.

• Bachelor of Arts in psychology with emphasis in mental health plus Master of Arts in counseling.

With Network for Enrollment and Transfer, students transferring from a community college that has an articulation agreement with Webster could receive up to $1,000 that would be applied to a student’s annual tuition costs. The scholarships are renewable annually. In addition, transfer students can automatically qualify for numerous academic merit awards ranging from $11,000 to $17,000 annually.
