Tamaqua police reported on the following incidents:

• Police said two borough men who were fighting broke a neighbor’s fence around 6:50 p.m. July 5.

As a result, Anthony Perez, 31, and Ayden Santiago, 19, were charged with disorderly conduct/engage in fighting.

According to police, Santiago spat on Perez’s car, and when Perez asked why he did so, Santiago took a fighting stance.

The two then fought and damaged a fence on the 200 block of Green Street.

The owner of the fence requested that it be repaired.

• Brian Smith, 63, of Tamaqua, was taken into custody by police around 8:45 a.m. July 2.

Police said Smith, who was walking on North Railroad Street, was wanted on a warrant from Rutherford police in New Jersey.
