I was waiting in line a McDonald’s on 443 and I found out that the gentleman in front of me paid for my meal. I was shocked. Not because of anything wrong, but this random act of kindness was so unexpected. It really made me smile and brought back my faith in humanity.
It proved that there is good in the world. I wanted to thank him but he was gone before I could. With so much going on in the world today, this little gesture means the world to me. I am so grateful to this person and I am afraid that I may never be able to convey that to him directly.
So, sir, if you are reading this, I just want to say to you, thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. This means so much to me. You have put a smile on my face and made my day better. Again, thank you.
