Franklin Township received an outstanding pitching effort from Luke Haydt, who tossed a no-hitter Monday in Senior Connie Mack action.

Luke Haydt hurled a no-hitter to lead Franklin Township to a 10-0 shutout over Northern Lehigh.

Logan Bellis smacked a homer and knocked in three runs, while Brock Atwood and Grant Birnbaum both had two RBIs.

Atwood, Birnbaum and Braylon Hunsicker each collected two hits. Hunsicker scored three runs.

Haydt walked four and struck out six in his memorable outing.

North Parkland jumped out to an early lead, and the Buffaloes went on to post a 14-4 victory over Palmerton.

In the second, North Parkland produced five runs, but Palmerton responded with three. North Parkland then answered with five more runs over the next two innings.

Robbie George had two hits for Palmerton, but the Bombers committed eight errors. Cade Serfass added a hit and knocked in two runs.

Brandon Gonzalez and Ryan Ebeling both recorded three hits for the Chargers, while Nathan Kinney, Connor Hausman and Richie Reinhart each finished with two.

Northern Valley RBIs came from Gonzalez, Ebeling, Kinney, Hausman and Andrew Saltzer.
