St. Peter’s — West Penn
The 9 a.m. Sunday service at St. Peter’s Church in West Penn will have a Joyous Noise offering. Adult Sunday school is at 10:15 a.m.
WASP meets at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Calvary Lewistown
Pastor Deb Rogers will bring a message centering on graduation at the 11 a.m. Sunday service at Calvary Evangelical Church in Lewistown. The church will celebrate the graduates of its church family, including those who received high school diplomas, master’s degrees, an Air Force Academy graduate — and even a preschool graduation. There will be no Sunday evening service.
The church reminds all to celebrate Flag Day on June 14
The Wednesday evening prayer gathering is at 7 p.m.
All are welcome to all services.
Rush-Ryan-Delano Seniors
The Rush, Ryan and Delano Senior Citizens had a successful anniversary dinner and picnic. Gloria Gerhart’s daughter entertained the group with music on the piano and was also guest speaker. The group played games. The spaghetti dinner from DiMagggio’s in Tamaqua was delicious and included all the trimmings.
The group chanced off a fruit tray, which was won by a member. There was a moment of silence for two members.
The club presented members with $15 gift certificates. Bingo was played.
The group is asking for prayers for President Robert Neifert, who is experiencing health issues.
The next meeting will be held at 1 p.m. June 23 at Christ Church in Barnesville.
Zion Lewistown
Pastor Jim Williams will officiate the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service at Zion Church in Lewistown Valley. Sunday school is at 9:30 a.m.
