Earthquake, trees down, outages and storm aftermath

The U.S. Geological Service says a 1.8 Magnitude Earthquake happened in the Lehighton area early Sunday morning.

The earthquake happened at 12:32 a.m. Sunday about 4 kilometers northwest of Lehighton.

That was just hours after thunderstorms and heavy rains moved through the area, knocking out power and knocking down tree limbs.
