The Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce announced the return of Tamaqua Community Day, which will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Owl Creek Reservoir in Tamaqua.
The annual event will bring together families, local organizations, businesses, vendors and community members for a day packed with activities, entertainment, food and outdoor fun.
Attendees can enjoy live demonstrations, children’s activities, fishing seminars and bucket casting presented by Schuylkill Headwaters, as well as live animals, music and much more throughout the day.
A wide variety of food options will be available including Owl Creek pizza, Happy Family BBQ, Sweet Inclusion smoothies, La Providencia tacos, Odd Fellows cotton candy, Hope & Coffee and Lonestar Sno Cones.
The event will celebrate the spirit of community while showcasing the many organizations, businesses and volunteers that help make Tamaqua a special place to live and visit.
“We are incredibly excited for this year’s Tamaqua Community Day,” said Aimee Dotson, the chamber’s executive director. “This event truly represents the heart of our community.
