The Lansford Historical Society, 117 E Bertsch Street Lansford will hold its annual spring open house event on Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the founding of Lansford and the 250th anniversary of our country, the society will have a special display of military artifacts from the Civil War to the present.

This year the display will include rare and some never previously displayed items ranging from uniforms, equipment, letters home, photographs and newspapers. WLSH Radio will be broadcasting live from 1 to 3 p.m. Admission is always free, light refreshments will be available.
