The Carbon County commissioners approved or acknowledged the following personnel actions during their meeting last week.

• Resignation: Martiely Peralta Ovalles of Hazleton, 911 operator, effective June 3.

• Hire: Donna McGarry of Lehighton, seasonal election clerk, effective May 18.

• Changes of status: Dawson K. McCoy of Palmerton, from part-time corrections officer to corrections officer, effective May 11; and Melanie T. Ramos of Lansford, coordinator (TANF and WIOA) to caseworker, effective May 26.

• Court resignation: Ethan Turrano of Tamaqua, probation officer I, adult probation, effective May 26.

• Court change of status: Jill M. Williams of Jim Thorpe, from part-time security officer, sheriff, to specialist II, domestic relations, effective May 18.
