The weekly Summer Concert Series, featuring bands each week at the historic Tamaqua Train Station, got underway last night with the Cressona Band performing with two bright red cabooses in the background. The series, to be held every Thursday, is sponsored by the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. On June 4, folk singer Jay Smar will sing songs pertaining to coal mining history.
