The annual Colonial League vs. Schuylkill League All-Star football game will be held this Saturday at 6 p.m. at Schuylkill Haven High School.

The Times News will be well represented on both teams.

The Colonial roster lists nine players from three different schools, while five area gridders from three schools appear on the Schuylkill squad.

Lehighton leads the way of participants with five. They include Caden Meek, Hunter Kintz, Blake Roberts, Austin Green and Makih Breiner.

Joining the Indians on the Colonial team will be Northern Lehigh’s Grady Newhard and Nathaniel Kuhns, along with Palmerton’s Alex Keiper and Vincent Taglieri.

In addition, Nolehi assistant coach Matt Newhard will be part of the CL staff.

TN players that will help make up the Schuylkill team include Marian’s Matt Spino, Damian Rodino and Jah Bushation, as well as Tamaqua’s Luke Frohnheiser and Panther Valley’s Gino Williams.

This is the fifth year for the all-star game. A year ago, the Schuylkill squad earned a 24-9 victory.

The series is currently tied at 2-2.
