The Palmerton Area School District board of directors approved the following fall coaching appointments at its meeting recently:

• Lily Kershner, volleyball head coach, $4,347

• Jillian Frank, field hockey assistant coach, $2,854

• Abigail Wortmann, field hockey volunteer assistant coach, no compensation
