Lansford: The Garland-Manak-Boyle-Zonca-Whitehead American Legion Post 123, Lansford, will conduct its annual Memorial Day service on Monday, at 9 a.m. at the veterans monument located in Kennedy Park. Dale Giordano, a retired U.S. Marine Corps major who served 20 years of active duty as a pilot, will speak. Residents are urged to fly the American flag at their residences. In case of inclement weather, the program will be held inside American Legion Post 123, which is located at 3 W. Ridge St. All welcome.

Lehighton: Main service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, upper Lehighton Park Amphitheatre. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held inside at Zion United Church of Christ, Second and Iron streets.

Hometown: Service at 11:30 a.m. at Sky-View Park cemetery.

Palmerton: Parade at 10 a.m. Monday. Parade will start in the 200 block of Delaware Avenue and proceed to Fifth Street, to Franklin Avenue, then down Franklin to Palmerton Borough Park, where services are held at 11 a.m. In case of rain, services will be held inside St. John Neumann Regional School.

Summit Hill: Gary Evans, a Summit Hill native, will speak at 10 a.m. in Ludlow Park in the center of the community.

The service will be followed the Summit Hill Memorial Day Parade at 11 a.m.

Slatington: Main service at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Slatington Veterans Memorial (intersection of Main and Second streets).

Tamaqua: The 2026 Tamaqua Memorial Day Parade will be held beginning at 10 a.m. Monday. Stephen Heigele, of Tamaqua, will be grand marshal; Dr. Evelyn Potochny will be the featured speaker for service held at the Soldiers’ Circle in Odd Fellow’s Cemetery at 11 a.m. with the color guard of the Tamaqua American Legion C.H. Berry Post No. 173 rendering honors.

Parade formation will be in the last block of East Broad Street in the area of NAPA Auto Parts. Participants are asked to be on-site no later than 9:30 a.m.
