Summit Hill parade lineup
Thomas Vermillion, chairman of the Summit Hill Memorial Day Parade Committee, has announced the lineup of participants in the annual event that will be held on Monday.
The parade will step off at 11 a.m., following the traditional Memorial Day program to be held by American Legion Post 316, Summit Hill, at 10 a.m. in Ludlow Park in the center of the community.
The lineup is as follows:
First Division
Form on Ludlow Street, from Walnut to Market and Ludlow to Hazard streets — Summit Hill Police, Summit Hill American Legion Post 316, Lansford American Legion Post 123, Grand Marshal Joseph “Mucker” Williams, Schuylkill — Carbon Marine Corps League, Poppy Queen 2026 Charlotte Basiago, American Legion 30th District Commander,
Summit Hill Sons of the American Legion, Summit Hill Mayor Karen Ruzicka, Panther Valley High School Marching Band, Panther Valley High School Cheerleaders, Panther Valley High School JROTC, Summit Hill Historical Society, Summit Hill Water Authority, Summit Hill Heritage Center.

Note: the lineup from the Anthracite Little League through the Coaldale Fire Company, except for the Summit Hill Fire Company, will line up on Market Street, from Ludlow to Hazard streets.
