Weatherly-CMVT

Weatherly rallied from a seven-run deficit Tuesday to tie its game with Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech, but the Rams quickly broke the deadlock with an eight-run sixth inning on their way to a 16-10 non-league victory.

The Wreckers trailed 7-0 after four innings. After a five-run fifth frame, an RBI single by Jeremiah Donadi and a run-scoring double off the bat of Bradlee Connors in the sixth tied the score at 8-8.

CMVT bunched together four hits and four walks, and took advantage of an error to plate the eight runs in the sixth to take control.

Ray Montz, Donadi and Niko Suarez each had two hits for Weatherly.

Montz scored three runs, while Suarez drove in three. Donadi added a pair of runs and two RBIs. Frank Schoch chipped in with a hit and two RBIs.
