May 9, 1966 — Caz Kosciolek goes 4-for-4 as part of a 14-hit Panther Valley attack and the Panthers hold off Schuylkill Haven for a 7-6 victory. Two of Kosciolek’s hits are doubles and he also drives in a pair of runs. Gary Druss collects three hits and scores a run, while Bill Maynard ends with two doubles, two RBIs and a pair of runs. PV, coached by Vince Spisak, also receives a couple hits and a run from Dave Padora. Bob Henninger pitches well to earn the victory. Henninger goes all seven innings and allows just six hits and two earned runs while striking out five.
