A quick response by area firefighters saved a home in the borough of Lehighton Thursday afternoon. The fire was reported around 3:30 p.m. in the 300 block of North Seventh Street as a working dwelling fire with smoke showing. The incident went to a second alarm with numerous Carbon County communities responding. No injuries were reported in the incident.
