Sunday afternoon the East Penn Township and Bowmanstown fire companies were dispatched to a brush fire at 1399 East Lizard Creek Road.

Firefighters found heavy brush burning to the rear of the residence. Crews were on scene over an hour dousing the flames and taking care of hot spots and flare ups.
