The Tri County State Bank announced the appointments of Duane J. Costenbader and Glenn B. Kleppinger to the positions of loan officers of the bank.

Costenbader has been employed by the bank since 1965 in the bookkeeping and proof departments. Following 2-1/2 years of service in the U.S. Army, he returned to the bank in 1970 and was promoted to the teller position. Two years later, he was transferred to the loan department of the bank’s Lehighton office.

He and his wife Carol and son Stephen reside in Palmerton.

Kleppinger’s promotion follows six years of employment at the bank, where he previously worked in the proof, bookkeeping and teller positions.

He is the son of William and Margaret Kleppinger of Lansford.
