The Monroe County commissioners approved the following items last week concerning grants.

• Fiscal/Grants: Ratify submittal of the 2026 Court Interpreter Services Grant application for 2025 costs in the amount of $158,422.78; approve to electronically sign the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program contract, the amount to be determined for the period Dec. 1, 2025, through Nov. 30, 2028; and to electronically sign the Fiscal Year 2024 Byrne State Crisis Intervention Program Local Solicitation contract, $200,000 from Jan. 1 to Sept. 30, 2027; begin the Community Service Block Grant 2026 Monroe Sub-Recipient Contracts, CSS Shepard’s Maternity Home, $10,000; Family Promise of Monroe County, $81,000; Monroe County Meals on Wheels, $25,000; Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Network, $25,000; Pocono Services for Families and Children, $55,000; Pocono Area Transitional Housing, $42,000; Salvation Army, $85,840; Resources for Human Development, $33,000; Stroud Region Open Space and Rec Commission, $10,000; and Safe Monroe, $14,000.

• Opioid grant from the Opioid Settlement Funds — Memorandum of Understanding and Agreement: Path to Peace, $25,000; Northbound, $66,300 for program setup and treatment; and Carbon-Monroe-Pike Drug & Alcohol Commission, $75,000.

• Probation — Ratify the submittal of the Juvenile Probation Services Grant Award Notice/Invoice, $96,795, from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
