Amber Y. Bittner, 21, of Alburtis, was cited for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash at 11:49 a.m. March 17 on Route 309 in Lynn Township, state police at the Fogelsville barracks said.

No one was hurt in the incident.

Police said Bittner was driving a 2004 Toyota RAV4 when she failed to observed traffic slowing in front of her vehicle and hit the rear of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma pickup driven by Paul D. Valentine Jr., 59, of Tamaqua.

Police said both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene, but Bittner opted to have the RAV4 towed.
