The Weatherly Area High School Alumni Association recently presented a check for $500.00 to the Weatherly Area School District to assist with activities for “Read Across America – Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss” for March is Reading Month. Sue Ann Gerhard, president of the WAHSAA, presented the check to Dr. Robert Croop, Superintendent. Activities were held throughout the day and many volunteers, teachers and principals read to the students in grades Pre-K through fourth. This event is held annually.
