A Wayne County man has died from injuries in a multi-vehicle crash in Monroe County.

The Lehigh County Coroner’s Office & Forensics Center said Melvin Moreno, 57, of Gouldsboro, was pronounced dead at 2:47 p.m. Wednesday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.

The cause of death is complications of multiple blunt force injuries. The manner of death is accident.

Moreno was the driver of a motor vehicle involved in a collision with another motor vehicle that occurred on March 5 at around 2:57 p.m. in the area of N. 9th Street (Route 611) and Wigwam Park Road, Stroud Township.

In addition to the coroner’s office, the Stroud Area Regional Police Department is investigating.
