Police said Kathleen R. O’Shea, 59, of Sciota, refused an emergency medical services transport from the scene; Kristian C. Constance, 19, of Stroudsburg, was transported by personnel from the Suburban ambulance to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg; and Nellie D. Gordon, 63, and Anna R. Gordon, 24, both of Effort, were taken by Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS personnel to the St. Luke’s Hospital, Monroe Campus, Stroudsburg.

Police said the crash occurred as O’Shea was driving a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt east when it passed a 2010 Nissan Sentra driven by Constance and struck it. They said O’Shea then lost control of the Cobalt, which traveled into the lane of travel of a 2023 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Nellie Gordon and was struck. The Cobalt went out of control and hit a snowbank, sustaining disabling damage.

Police said the Cobalt and Trailblazer were towed from the scene, while the Sentra had minor damage.

Police said they were transported by personnel from the Lehigh Valley Health Network EMS corps to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono Campus, East Stroudsburg.

Police said the crash occurred when Kraft was driving a 2002 Toyota Tacoma northbound and was traveling behind a 2013 Subaru Outback driven by Haydt. Police said Kraft was unable to control his vehicle and the Tacoma hit the back of the Outback.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Kraft was cited for driving at an unsafe speed, according to police.

• A tractor-trailer driver was uninjured when the rig traveled off Interstate 80 in Kidder Township and struck a tree.

The crash occurred at 10:05 p.m. Feb. 9 at mile marker 281.6. Police said Gurjinder Singh, 43, of Jamaica, New York, was westbound in the 2020 Peterbilt when it traveled into the left shoulder and struck the tree. The rig was towed from the scene.

Singh was cited after the crash, according to police.

• No one was hurt when a car struck a deer on Route 715 in Chestnuthill Township at 8:26 p.m. March 19.

Police did not identify the driver of the 2015 Audi A3 but said it was southbound when the deer entered the road from the right side of the roadway and was hit.

The car had damage to its right front.

• No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:18 p.m. March 18 on Route 715 in Jackson Township.

Police said the crash occurred as Jared E. Meyer, 23, of Albrightsville, was driving a 2015 Subaru Legacy westbound when it hydroplaned during severe rain, left the road and hit a utility pole. The car had disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Police said Meyer was cited for driving a vehicle without insurance.

• Police cited both drivers after a two-vehicle crash at 7:13 a.m. March 9 on Interstate 80 in Kidder Township.

They did not identify the driver of the 2010 Honda Civic that was westbound when the driver failed to remain to the right except to pass. They said a 2026 Kia K4 that was traveling behind the Honda approached it at a high rate of speed when the driver of the Honda braked. Police said the driver of the Kia drove onto the left shoulder to avoid a rear-end collision but the Kia sideswiped the Honda.

Police said both vehicles had moderate damage but were driven from the scene.

They said the operator of the Kia was cited for following too closely and for leaving the roadway.
