<PARAGRAPH style="Body.subhead">Palmerton tax bills
Palmerton Borough Tax Collector Raquel Lutton reminds residents that Carbon County real estate and per capita taxes are being mailed on April 1. If you do not receive your bill by April 15, call, text or email Lutton at 610-442-3223 or palmborotc@yahoo.com.
You may write one check for all of the bills in this April mailing. But you cannot combine the school bills mailed in July with this mailing on the same check.
Be sure to read the instructions on the bills and the insert.
Consider it may take some time for your payment to make it through processing before calling to ask if the check had been received.
If you receive someone else’s bills, please return to sender.
Lutton also reminds resident that moving permits are required when moving in and out of the borough. People can obtain a moving permit at the borough hall.
