State police at the Hazleton barracks reported the following incidents:
• Police are investigating the theft of a 2009 Polaris 500 all terrain vehicle from a property on Pine Street, Banks Township.
A 59-year-old woman from Junedale told police that someone stole the vehicle between Jan. 19 and 4:54 p.m. March 9.
She said the ATV was parked in a garage for the winter when it was taken.
• An 81-year-old man from Weatherly had over $30,000 stolen from her in a theft/fraud/forgery incident that police are investigating.
They were called at 11:53 a.m. Feb. 26 to a property on Walters Lane, Packer Township, where the woman said the theft occurred via a telephone call from an unknown number.
A male and female masqueraded as a police officer and bank employee and convinced the woman to purchase Bitcoin between Feb. 24 and 26, according to police.
• Miranda Fox, 25, of Weatherly, and Caleb Piccione, 22, of Nanticoke, are facing criminal trespass charges after police were called to a property on Centre Street in Freeland at 6:49 a.m. Feb. 8.
Police said the two entered an office room at the location without authorization.
