The Panther Valley Chamber of Commerce honored its past presidents last night at the first ever Presidents Dinner held at the Edgemont Lodge, Lansford.

Recipients of the honors were Ernest Scheller from the Silberline Manufacturing Company, 1969; George Bright of Brights Department Store, 1970; Joseph Porvaznik of Porvaznik’s Florist, 1971; and Henry Bayarsky of Henry’s Men’s and Boys Shop, 1972.

Each of the past presidents was presented a walnut plaque with a brass gavel and name plate on it in recognition of their terms of office and appreciation of their dedicated service to the communities of the Panther Valley.

Over 100 people attended the event.
