A 4-hour standoff ended peacefully early Sunday morning in Tamaqua.
Washington, Railroad, Pine, Rose and Elm streets in Tamaqua were shut down due to a state police standoff in the 500 block of Washington Street.
It was reported on scene that a woman was in the residence with three children.
The incident began around 11 p.m. Saturday.
The state police SERT team was on scene. Members of the state police SERT team penetrate a second floor window to release a drone inside the residence.
Tamaqua fire police maintained traffic control shutting down the roadways and detouring traffic around the scene.
