The Lansford 150th Anniversary committee will resume meetings at 6 p.m. Tuesday at American Legion Post Home, West Ridge Street.

The committee will discuss plans for the military band’s performance proposed for the end of June and the possibility of fireworks following the concert through Lansford Alive.

The committee will also look at youth engagement, a battle of the bands competition, patriotic house and business decorating through the year, a small parade in the fall, a time capsule, a 1976 reunion and an official 150th song.

Updates will be given on grants, donations and upcoming fundraisers. Additional tickets will be available for the cheesesteak and wing fundraiser through Coal Miners’ Bar and Grill.

The public is welcome to attend, and asked to bring along ideas for the celebration.
