“Issues Facing Palmerton” will be the topic at the Palmerton Area Democratic Club’s March meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Palmerton Pub (rear banquet room), 304 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. The meeting is free and open to the public.

An optional social hour and dinner will precede the meeting at 5:45 p.m. with dinner served at 6:15 p.m. The meeting will be called to order at 7 p.m. R.S.V.P. dinner reservations and menu selections are requested to be texted to Marian Hoffner at 610-349-1697 by 10 a.m. Wednesday.

“We look forward to welcoming members of the Palmerton Borough Council, the mayor, and the borough manager for a panel discussion on issues facing Palmerton,” said Club President Sarina Berlow. “This is always one of our club’s most popular programs, and we expect an informative and lively discussion.”
